Life With a Stuffed Up Cup
Have you ever ever noticed yourself living while not very taking noticing of life?
Generally we tend to get into what I decision “head-house”. By this I mean we tend to live life as an idea rather than making our days come to life. We have a tendency to just get on and do, do, do and end up feeling like, well… do-do!
When you get out of the head-space, life can become an adventure.
In head-space we are trapped in things that has to be done. We have a tendency to can usually live life with our eyes half closed and with our actions based on response to fears and doubts and frustrations.
Once we get out of this head-space, we enter a zone of healing where we can confront and dissolve the things that we resist, so they evaporate.
We have a tendency to all understand the recent saying, “What you resist persists”. And several folks are resisting things almost constantly. However no matter we resist become a lot of intense.
Last week, Tuesday night to be exact, I used to be tired and got home late. The rubbish bin required wheeling to the prime of the path and I was tired and didn’t feel like doing it. As I thought of not doing it I found myself slipping into a negative spiral and also the remains of my energy just ran away as the negativity intensified. But the moment I place my hands on the bin and took it up the drive I felt better.
I created my alternative in a moment – knowing I’d feel higher if I simply did it. But there are other times when it may feel higher not to try to to something – maybe if you had the flu and had the same call to create!
Obtaining out of head-house and entering a zone of healing where journey and enquiry will take place comes from lowering our resistance. It comes once we are becoming inclusive of the things that drag us down.
However we tend to don’t heal ourselves through ignoring something. We heal it through embracing it and being with it.
The higher we get at this, the less we have a tendency to live at the mercy of others who previously had the power to make us feel unhappy, uncertain and unhappy. We’ll also be less reliant on others to make us happy.
Some folks would possibly suppose that filling up on life is regarding “positive thinking”. I do not absolutely agree. You’ll say “I have no weeds in my garden” and shut your eyes to the brambles, however will that really do the trick?
I do not suppose so.
But if you make the affirmation whereas opening your eyes and digging out the roots of the things that throttle the items you want to grow, the garden will start to flourish. (Tip – never use a pitch fork unless your eyes are open! Trust me, it’s not smart!)
To get out of head-area (the concept of life) and obtain into the the journey we simply begin asking 2 queries:
1. What is this about?
2. How does this serve me?
Raise these things whenever something annoys you, whenever you are feeling unhappy, tired or doubtful or reliant on someone else.
