The hillside is rich in flora which includes coniferous trees which help in cooling down the surroundings with light breezes. The legend of Mount Abu is that it was once home to 33 crore Gods and Godesses, so in the past it was a meditating ground. Other tourist attraction of Mount Abu is the Achalgarh fort that encloses some beautiful Jain temples and the Nakki Lake. It must be noted that the headquarters of the World Spiritual University is also here amidst the tranquillity of Mount Abu.
