Here’s an example of something you might’ve done: you get home and you sit down on the couch and you turn on the TV, and you make the decision that you’re not going anywhere after that. But in reality, you really wanna get out and walk, or go to the gym. You want to be active.
Alright, a couple of things. First, you need to stop the pattern. Don’t sit down. Rather, when you get home, have yourself a little something to drink — of whatever you think is healthy for you — and stay in motion.
Don’t sit down.
Second, when you picture yourself exercising, it’s guaranteed that if you’re not motivated you’re not picturing yourself with the result of your hard work. Instead you’re picturing yourself tying your shoe laces or perhaps you’re picturing yourself getting caught in traffic getting to the gym and this picture is going in slow motion in your head. Instead, speed all those pictures up.
Go right to the end of your hard work. Which is you looking fit, thin, with incredible energy. Feeling, 10, 15, or even 20 years younger.
Get the picture of product of your hard work. In other words, speed up the pictures of exercise you have in your mind and go to the end result. If you go to the end result, you see yourself feeling fit, thin, trim, while looking years younger — and more important feeling years younger. Now, take that energy that you have from those pictures in your head.
And bring it right into here and now.
And feel that desire to exercise. That’s right! The desire to do it. If you do this, 5, 10, or even 15 times, replaying the pictures of the results of all your hard work, you’ll increase the internal motivation for you to getting out there and getting healthy! Then, all that’s left to do is to enjoy the benefits.
